In the summer of 2024, a group of tech industry veterans came together with a shared challenge: finding the best, most comprehensive answers from multiple Large Language Models (LLMs). They often spent hours comparing outputs from tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Llama, then cross-referenced the results with additional research from sources like Google Search. This painstaking process worked, but was time-consuming and prone to overlooking crucial details. A turning point came during a discussion on the “All In Podcast” (Episode 183), where experts highlighted the inefficiencies of relying on a single AI model and the opportunities presented by combining multiple LLMs. Inspired by this insight, Sup AI was born. We set out to automate what was once a laborious manual effort: merging, refining, and enhancing content from various models and sources into one cohesive, highly accurate response. The name “Sup AI” comes from the mathematical concept of the “supremum”—the least upper bound that sets the highest standard. We embody this principle by striving to be the “upper bound” of AI-powered information synthesis. Instead of depending on a single model, we unite the strengths of multiple LLMs, ensuring that our users receive richer, more reliable, and more complete answers than any single model can provide.
