About super/nature

super/nature is a multidisciplinary practice working at the nexus of art, landscape and urbanism and founded on a desire to create visionary environments that spark curiosity, enhance liveability and foster a sense of belonging. Working at a range of scales and varying degrees of intervention, super/nature collaborates with clients and architects to identify each project's core principles alongside the opportunities and constraints of the site. Our design approach is both pragmatic and poetic, blending optimal spatial planning and sensitive material and planting selections with opportune moments of immersion, exploration and play. Where small gestures can trigger perceptual shifts, our approach to design is tactical, resourceful and impactful. super/nature provides design services for strategic interventions that can be replicated across larger urban sites, as well as complete design services for residential gardens and small to medium-scale urban developments. Working collaboratively with our clients and contractors, we take every opportunity to enhance the project and further craft its identity, fine-tuning details for construction and budget feasibility while helping navigate the complex process of installation. Through this collaborative approach and the synthesis of ideas and contextual research, our designs strive to be sustainable—both firmly rooted in the site and with the means to adapt to a changing future.
