About Superior Industrial Insulation
Superior Industrial Insulation Company was founded by Thomas Dake and Martin Delaney on March 1, 1980. In the beginning, the company specialized mainly in commercial insulation work. In 1982, Superior Industrial Insulation Company's first big Industrial project was at Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company. The company has been working there ever since. In 1995, Martin Delaney retired, and was succeeded by his son, Dan Delaney, who was the Vice President of Commercial Operations. He retired in 2018. In 2004, Kevin Delaney joined the office staff and became Vice President of Insulation Operations. In 2006, Tom Dake II joined Superior Industrial Insulation Company to become the Vice President of the newly formed Fire and Life Safety Operations Division. In 2011, Superior Industrial Insulation Company opened a branch office in Columbus, and newly hired Dick Reis became our Columbus Operations Manager. The company's facilities in Cleveland and Columbus both include 3,000 square feet of office space, and 14,000 square feet of warehouse storage, in addition to a small office and warehouse in Akron. Superior Industrial Insulation Company has completed work in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia, Colorado and Kentucky. With a 120 man crew working throughout the state of Ohio, Superior Industrial Insulation Company has evolved to become a reliable partner in the insulation, firestop and fireproofing business. Superior Industrial Insulation Company is able to secure bonding for construction projects – up to $10 million for single projects and up to $40 million for aggregate projects. Bank financing is in place to fund a project of literally any size. The company specializes in fast-track large projects which require on-site project management and split-second timing
