Supply Chain Cumbria Limited was incorporated with a mission to forge links and create opportunity for business in Cumbria - within the county, in the NW region, nationally and globally. With significant new investment planned for Cumbria – in sectors as diverse as defence, nuclear, energy, pharmaceuticals, mining and packaging – we assist companies in supply chain development, collaboration and excellence, to ensure that the capacity and capability is available locally to support what are very real and compelling growth opportunities. The focus of our work is to boost productivity through business improvement activities and develop skills to higher levels through training, coaching and mentoring. Alongside this, we help larger organisations to promote their corporate responsibility, sustainability, supplier development and local sourcing agendas, as well as helping the vast number of supply chain businesses engage effectively, build relationships, diversify their customer base and win new business.
