Supported Practice was started by Heather Kramer Almquist, a therapist with over 15 years of private practice experience and a 20-year career in Human Resources and Business Administration. After hearing plenty of virtual-assistant horror stories from other therapists and witnessing the major need for a better way for skilled therapists to run their businesses without burning out, Supported Practice was born. “It’s the relationship that heals.” — Irvin Yalom As counselors, we know this to be true and witness it daily in therapy sessions.
