About Supportive Housing and Innovative Partnerships
Supportive Housing and Innovative Partnerships, Inc. (SHIP), is a mission driven non-profit organization that seeks to prevent drug abuse in our community, to rebuild the lives of people in recovery from substance abuse by providing supportive housing, to support recovery services, to provide employment training programs and green job opportunities. SHIP operates nine safe and sober houses which provide a stable and safe environment for people in recovery from alcohol and other drugs (AOD) use disorders. Separate houses accommodate men, women, and veterans. In addition to the houses, SHIP also operates the Second Chance Building Materials Center, with locations in Boise and Nampa. The building materials centers keep tens of thousands of pounds of building materials out of landfills every year as well as provide retail and construction related employment to a number of people.
