Surf City Cranes was established back in January 2006 when we purchased our first Tadano TR 200M-4 Rough Terrain Crane. With a spate of new developments going up on the Gold Coast, Owner and Director Jon Morrish decided to throw his hat in the ring and set about building the region’s most exceptional mobile crane hire service. From day one, our main objective at Surf City Cranes was to provide our construction clients with a comprehensive and exceptional mobile crane hire service – that mission has certainly been accomplished. Mr Morrish is now one of the most respected operators in the business. He says, “Being a crane hire owner operator inspires me to be the best at what I do, and provide exceptional service every time.” Today, Surf City Cranes have the best and biggest fleet of cranes in the Brisbane/Gold Coast/Northern NSW region. With everything from the latest modern telehandlers for long term hire to ancillary equipment like spreader beams and concrete kibbles and more. Our range of equipment is ideal for all types of projects, particularly the larger construction sites, where we specialise in delivering the high capacity and broad range of equipment you need. Our fleet has something to suit every jobsite, from 12 tonne all-wheel drive cranes up to the supply of heavy-duty 200T machines. Surf City Cranes will take the stress and heavy lifting from your hands and will project manage no matter how big or small the mission is. Our company is big enough to service the South East Corner of Queensland with depots in Belmont, Brisbane and into the Northern Rivers of NSW with a depot at Burleigh on the Gold Coast.
