About Surgery Center of Fort Collins
Opened in 1991, the Surgery Center of Fort Collins was the first multi-specialty outpatient surgery facility in the area. We are proud to say the Center has since grown to a staff of 49 credentialed surgeons and 42 credentialed anesthesiologists, supported by a full complement of business office and clinical staff, serving northern Colorado, southern Wyoming and western Nebraska. Our facility provides patients a convenient, yet equally sophisticated and less expensive alternative to out-patient surgery performed in a hospital setting. From the moment you walk through the doors, we are confident you’ll recognize the expertise and compassion of our staff: -Our surgeons are board certified and must undergo a rigorous review before being able to perform surgery at the center. -Our anesthesia staff includes experienced, board certified or board eligible physicians from one of northern Colorado’s premier anesthesia groups, Northern Colorado Anesthesia Professionals. -Our clinical staff consists of highly trained individuals who provide care and support services to our patients. All registered nurses are Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified. The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and Overnight RNs are also Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified. Several of our RN’s have committed to their specialty by holding advanced certifications in the recovery room and sterile processing. -The Surgery Center of Fort Collins is licensed by the State of Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and accredited through the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). As a physician-owned and operated facility, we are committed to providing patients with exceptional medical care and personal attention, in a safe and convenient location.
