Surplec offers a centralized service for the sale, purchase, repair, rental, and testing of medium- and high-voltage transformers and equipment. For over 30 years, Surplec has been helping you develop and implement customized solutions by providing a complete range of new and refurbished transformers and equipment (rigorously tested in accordance with ISO 17025* standards). Our rental service offers temporary supply in cases of equipment failure, repairs, or short- and medium-term installations. Surplec ensures the fastest response time with the largest inventory of refurbished products and accessories in Canada. In addition, with its four specialized facilities, Surplec can perform repairs and modernization of your equipment in emergency situations. Surplec’s state-of-the-art high-voltage testing laboratory, one of the best equipped in North America, also complies with ISO 17025* standards. We also provide on-site testing services and supervision of high-voltage acceptance tests conducted in laboratories. Highly active in Eastern Canada, Surplec operates four plants in Sherbrooke, Quebec, and is also established in Spruce Grove (a suburb of Edmonton) in Alberta, to serve the Western Canadian market. ISO/IEC 17025:2005 sets out the general requirements for the competence to carry out tests and/or calibrations, including sampling.
