Surplus Property Solutions (SPS) was founded in 2005 in order to carry out the first pure leasehold liability transfer and transaction of 96 interests with Rentokil-Initial. From its inception, SPS has been the leader in working out troublesome leasehold liability portfolios SPS has a fully dedicated property team of nine, a large construction team, offices in London and Glasgow, and a number of partners chosen specifically for their ability to deal with liabilities. We are the number one market specialist in getting rid of unwanted leasehold liabilities. Over the past 9 years we have removed over £250 million of legacy liabilities from companies such as Rentokil, Carillion, Morrisons and Santander, as well as from private equity portfolio companies. We accomplish this at a speed that is unimaginable for large property advisors or for in-house teams and at a cost that is equally ambitious. We achieve because we are entirely focused and because we are only remunerated on success. Our involvement allows companies to remove management responsibility for their unwanted portfolio and to focus 100% on core business.
