About Surprise Cake, Charm Concepts
Surprise Cake was founded by Liz Charm, a baker, and her son Jordan Long, an engineer. Liz started making her first version of "surprise cakes” years ago for her kids’ birthdays. She would vacuum seal gifts into cakes, and they loved it. Her first one ever was for her eldest daughter’s birthday, when she hid her first cell phone in the cake and had it ring from inside! Liz wanted to make this concept possible for the whole world to experience, so she and Jordan created the Popping Cake Stand to put the gifts into the stand and have them magically pop out of a cake OR cupcakes!
