Survivors Empowered Inc. is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to supporting survivors of sexual violence through advocacy, education, and community partnerships. Our mission is to empower individuals who have experienced trauma by providing them with access to essential mental health resources and fostering a supportive community. We focus on offering scholarships for trauma-informed mental health treatment, particularly through our “Mental Health is Health” program, which is designed to reduce financial barriers and ensure that survivors receive the care they need to heal and recover. Our “Mental Health is Health” program provides scholarships for survivors aged 13 and older to access affordable mental health care at The Meadows Behavioral Healthcare in Scottsdale, AZ. We are committed to inclusivity, ensuring that all survivors, men and women, have equal access to our support. This program is crucial for those who face economic challenges or lack access to affirming care. By offering comprehensive and culturally competent care, we help survivors rebuild their lives and support their families, reducing the risk of severe outcomes such as suicide. RISE 2025 is our upcoming flagship event, scheduled for March 2, 2025, at the Phoenix Suns’ Footprint Center. This exclusive pregame event will draw over 300 attendees and benefit from the high visibility of more than 17,000 fans at the Suns vs. Timberwolves game that evening. Proceeds from the event will support our Mental Health is Health program, with 85% of funds going directly to provide scholarships for survivors, 10% supporting Amplify Voices in their work with survivors of trafficking, and 5% reinvested to sustain our organization. All sponsors contributing $5,000 or more will have their logos displayed during the game, offering significant exposure and demonstrating their commitment to a meaningful cause.
