About Susan G. Komen® Greater Fort Worth
One out of eight women will have to fight breast cancer in her lifetime. That’s why, since 1992, the Greater Fort Worth Affiliate of Susan G. Komen® has been hard at work raising money to provide breast cancer screening, education and treatment services, as well as financial and emotional support, to un-insured or under-insured women and men in Tarrant, Parker, Johnson and Hood counties. In fact, 75 percent of the money we raise each year stays in the Greater Fort Worth service area to improve the lives of those affected by this deadly disease. The remaining funds go towards imperative national research to find a cure for breast cancer once and for all. We Live Here. We Race Here. We Save Lives Here.
