About Susan Shaw

Susan Shaw is a web and print designer, as well as an artist working in Painting, Photography, Wideo and Textiles. Shaw is a 2007 and 2009 recipient of residency fellowships in painting at the Vermont Studio Center. Recent awards include: Finalist for Painting, Annual Haym Salomon Arts Awards Competition; an AVA gold award for video production, titled “The Mermaid Parade.” which was also selected for the 2009 Coney Island Film Festival. Shaw has also received two New York State Artist’s Fellowships and the Craft Kaleidoscope Award from the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Public and corporate collections include: The Museum of Modern Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The International Museum of Photography, The Israel Museum, The Alternative Museum, Chase Manhattan Bank, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Glaxo Corporation, IBM, Southeast Banking, Security Bank and Pacific National Bank.
