About Sushi Do

The name Sushi-Do means 'The Way of Sushi' in Japanese. ('Sushi-Do', Do is pronounced like Judo). 'The Way of Sushi' means we focus on authentic Japanese-style sushi, but with appropriate changes for western tastes. Our management team is made up of sushi chefs with a combined 45 years of experience preparing sushi in restaurants and food service operations both in Japan and the US. Sushi-Do is a rapidly expanding company based in the Northeast, but with operations throughout the U.S. Our journey began several years ago, when one of our team was requested by a college food service operation to offer a 'sushi night' to the students on campus. It was a great success and developed into a regular program on campus. Sushi-Do was born and progressed quickly. We understand and cater to the needs of institutional food service companies. With a strong focus on service to our food service partners we can tailor our program to local, specific requirements. Food service organizations are our clients, and we understand you have clients too, such as major colleges. Sushi-Do's Premium Chef on Site program provides a combination of restaurant quality food, professionalism and customer service. We pride ourselves in having our location chefs trained and managed by our traditionally trained Japanese sushi chefs. With over 30 years of experience, our knowledge of the Japanese and American sushi industry has helped us develop a wide variety of delicious sushi creations.
