The first summer at my dream home in Lucca, Italy, I discovered a thriving plum tree growing by the pool and Susina Cucina—the Italian for Plum Kitchen—was born. Now, it’s my joy to open my kitchen, and provide a place of peace & relaxation for busy dreamers like you to experience the real Tuscany—and learn to cook the Italian way, like my mother and grandmother taught me. xo. Melissa Susina Cucina offers international cooking experiences to passionate individuals looking to share and create mouthwatering dishes under the Tuscan sun. Melissa indulges her guests in outdoor cooking seminars, formal classes and food and wine tastings in the idyllic Italian countryside. Visitors get to discover the true meaning of La Dolce Vita (the sweet life) and splash around in the crystal blue swimming pool.
