About Sustainable Hospitality Group (SHG)
Sustainable Hospitality Group (SHG) consists of Nula Oy (Restaurant Nolla), Mamu business Oy (Restaurant Elm), and Bodeguita Oy (Restaurant Nolita). SHG was founded in 2018 by Carlos Henriques, Albert Franch Sunyer, and Luka Balac, with the opening of Restaurant Nolla. Nolla was born out of a shared desire to make the restaurant industry more responsible, becoming the first zero-waste restaurant in the Nordic countries. At Nolla, guests can enjoy dishes crafted from local, organic, or biodynamic ingredients. In 2022, SHG expanded with the launch of Restaurant Elm, located at Puistokatu 4. Elm continues SHG's responsibility-driven mission, aligning with Puistokatu 4's purpose as a space for research, work, and discussion on the ecological crisis. Elm serves Mediterranean cuisine, emphasising simplicity and seasonality. SHG’s latest venture, Neighbourhood Restaurant Nolita, opened in 2023. Situated in the heart of Punavuori, Nolita is a bakery-restaurant offering lunches, dinners, and freshly baked breads. It is also a perfect spot for enjoying a glass of wine, with a curated selection of top-notch wines.
