About Sustainable Initiatives

Sustainable Initiatives is a leading social enterprise in eastern India. We are committed to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). We believe in 3P’s – Prevention, Protection & Preservation. Our expert members have earlier worked with several livelihood development projects such as internship programs, tribal development initiatives, farmer development related activities in India. We have focused on Capacity Building, Cultural Tourism, Improvement of the quality of lives (QOL) of the inhabitants inside, or adjacent to the forest areas. Our core members have worked on the numerous livelihood development models for the artisans. Our aim to fight against Climate change, Unemployment, Poverty and Hunger. We are keen to work in domain of mangrove and medicinal plant cultivation in eastern India. Our expertise in many awareness campaigns, workshops and training programs for social wellbeing of farmers. Our core committee members have worked as leader in man-animal conflicts related projects, non-timber forest product related projects. In addition, our team-mates have worked advisor to many governments and non-governmental agencies in India.
