About Suttle Stone Quarries

Suttle Stone Quarries main operations are based out of Swanworth Quarry in Worth Matravers and California Quarry in Swanage. We also have our Stone & Recycling Depot on Manning’s Heath Road near Tower Park, in Poole. Our quarrying operation at Swanworth Quarry brings crushed limestone products, aggregates, gabion stone and rock armour to local and national markets and a variety of sectors. From our California Quarry in Swanage we quarry dimension stone, providing bespoke Purbeck stone solutions. As well as quarrying the stone itself, we are supported by our own FORS compliant fleet of tipper trucks and a HIAB, allowing us to safely and economically deliver stone to our customers in the Dorset area and beyond. Our Stone and Recycling Depot, based near Tower Park in Poole is ideally located to serve customers in the Poole area with crushed aggregates from our quarry as well as a range of decorative chippings, soils and sands. All Available in tonne bags or loose, ideal for both trade and domestic customers. As well as providing the local economy with materials, this depot also accepts inert and green waste. The inert waste is then recycled on site to produce recycled materials. Through our quarrying and retail operations we support a diverse range of end-users, ranging from supporting complex civil engineering, groundwork, drainage or sea defence schemes to residential landscaping and garden improvements.
