SV@Home's mission is to drive the creation of affordable housing for a more vibrant and equitable Silicon Valley. We are dedicated to addressing Santa Clara County's critical housing needs and advancing housing justice. Collaborating with a diverse coalition of strategic partners, SV@Home focuses on three key areas: - Production: Advocating for the development of affordable housing to meet the community's needs. - Preservation: Maintaining existing affordable homes to prevent displacement. - Protection: Safeguarding families residing in affordable housing. SV@Home envisions equitable and thriving communities where everyone has a place to call home. Their mission is to build collective power and advocate for systemic change to achieve housing affordability and justice in Santa Clara County. Through policy advocacy, community leadership, and narrative building, SV@Home strives to create an environment conducive to housing justice. Believing that housing justice is achieved when all communities are inclusive and empowered, SV@Home emphasizes the importance of community-led development and equitable resource distribution. By fostering relationships, convening stakeholders, and sharing knowledge, SV@Home works strategically and transparently to build trust and drive meaningful change in the housing landscape.
