About SVENHEIM

Svenheim Møbelindustri AS was founded at Osterøy in 1946 as a subcontractor for other manufacturers. As the years went by, we expanded our customer base for subcontracting, and so did our product range. In 1992 we moved into larger premises in Lunde, Telemark. In 2002 our growth was crowned with the acquisition of a 50,000 m2 big factory in Alytus, Lithuania - and gradually it became UAB Svenheim, a fully operational office furniture manufacturer. As a furniture manufacturer, we are fully aware of our impact on both the environment and other businesses. All our products are now certified with "Nordic Swan". We use environmentally friendly raw materials, and production processes, as well as reduce emissions and waste. These are the production standards we also expect from our subcontractors. Our slogan is FLEXIBLE WORKPLACES, and this principle of flexibility is the very core of Svenheim's identity. This is reflected in both our product range and our working methods. No matter what our customers' needs are, we can offer solutions for them. We continue to move the limits for what is possible by constantly evolving new production techniques to fulfill the demands of tomorrow's functionality and design.
