Svenska Elektrod was founded in 198q with the base in the sole agency for UTP welding consumables. Ever since then, the company has striven to deliver high quality products, mainly from Europe, to Swedish customers in a fast and flexible manner. The knowledge, within the company, about the product portfolio as well as materials and processes has always been at a high level and exceeded customer expectations. Today Svenska Elektrod is built on three business areas that all are synergistic to one another and gives the customer the possibility to have a more complete supplier. The business areas are: Welding (consumables, machines, auxiliaries and education - IWS etc.), Non destructive testing (Equipment and consumables for all methods) and industrial heat protection, each and everyone of the business areas with its dedicated technical manager with expertise. Svenska Elektrod hade 2 IWE:s and a chemical engineer that together can solve any problem the industry throws their way. In 2014 the education portfolio was founded with the base in the IWS-diploma education (IIW) with accreditation from the Swedish Welding Association.
