About Swan Mill Paper Company
Swan Mill Paper Company is well known for the Swantex brandname and is the largest part of diversified group. The Group employs about 400 people in the UK and Asia. They manufacture c5 billion napkins pa in Kent plus distribute the full disposable tableware solution to both the 'away from home' and 'at home' retail markets. Having a design studio in the UK and an office in Hong Kong plus expertise in both geographies Swantex works with both UK and international customers to develop new products, ranges and categories. The 'Swantex Green' range is specifically targeted at categories that have traditionally used single use plastics. Now in stock is a full range of FSC and composable paper straws, wooden cutlery and accessories, bagasse plates & food containers and 100% recycled FSC napkins. The group also prints giftwrap and tinsel at their Wales factory in the UK which also distributes Christmas decorations, bags, cards and over 30 million Christmas crackers from their own China based factory. All can be supplied ex UK or FOB China as part of the design product expertise. Group also owns Ling Designs and the Great British Card Company Ltd which are both specialist greetings card publishers with different but complementary looks and also luxury gift packaging brand Penny Kennedy. Swantex Asia is based in Hong Kong and provides sourcing, QA and inspection expertise for the group plus sells to UK and international customers on an FOB basis out of China.
