Talking to the general public about E-bikes started as an experiment in lockdown; we now sell over 200 British and European E-bikes each year and that number is growing. Our philosophy is simple; we don’t sell, we serve. We share information and we help customers choose a comfortable bike to suit their cycling and health needs. Success is when customers end up with a great E-Bike and a service relationship that means they feel supported and can ask for help at anytime. Our brands include Gocycle, MiRider, Estarli, Bergamont, Scott, ICE Trikes, and Van Raam Originally, we assumed (erroneously) that we could be on-line. Within two weeks we realised that most people had minimal experience of E-bikes and so lacked references points for making an informed purchasing decision. We heard stories of people buying bikes on line and never riding them. We changed our approach and started taking E-bikes to street markets (this was allowed in lockdown), so we could show people how they worked, how they could improve their mobility. We now have hundreds of satisfied customers who ride their bikes daily. It is an ideal business activity with a social impact for couples who want to work together.
