About Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce Seattle

The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce, Seattle (SACC-Seattle) is a non-profit organization working to enhance trade relations as well cultural exchange between Sweden and the Pacific Northwest region in the United States. We operate under the umbrella of SACC-USA based in Washington, DC. SACC-USA is the umbrella organization for 19 regional Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce across the United States. The Swedish-American chamber has more than 2,300 corporate and business members in Sweden and the U.S., which makes it the second largest European Chamber of Commerce in the United States. The network consists of an exciting mix of entrepreneurs, business leaders, investors, economic development organizations, government leaders and academia. Mission The mission of SACC-Seattle is to facilitate business opportunities, trade, commerce, and investment between the Northwest region of the USA and Sweden through mutual understanding and support of our members and our community. We help likeminded individuals and companies find value added business connections within both the Swedish and American communities. Vision Creating business opportunities through awareness and dissemination of current and future trends within, but not limited to, industries prominent in the northwest region of United States as Sustainable Development, Information and Communications Technology and Healthcare. These three areas clearly share significant common ground between Sweden and the Pacific Northwest, which the chamber will continue to focus on as well as encouraging relationships in other prominent industries. Our goal is to be the preferred business partner and trade organization in terms of facilitating trade between Sweden and the Pacific Northwest region.
