About 12 years ago, Kirsten’s son was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. As a mom, Kirsten focused on what to do now. Learning to live with allergies is many things–scary, overwhelming, frustrating. While some of those things can’t be changed, Kirsten thought it should at least always be delicious. Thus, Swedish Girl Bakery was born. Over the past three years, Kirsten and the Swedish Girl Bakery team have worked to change the consumer mindset from “this is good for gluten-free” to expecting and enjoying desserts and delicacies that are no less tasty than their gluten counterparts. Whether it be a life-style choice or a life-altering allergy, Swedish Girl Bakery is a bespoke bakery that prides itself on being a completely nut-free and gluten-free facility. Offerings also include dairy-free, egg-free, and vegan choices that include a variety of tasty treats. From wedding cakes to sugar cookies, custom logos to special events, the team at Swedish Girl Bakery is happy to chat about your needs for an allergy-friendly lifestyle.
