About Swedrive
Swedrive AB is a leading designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engineered electromechanical transmission products for industries that demand the highest technical quality with minimal environmental impact. Established in 1973 by five highly experienced engineers, we are now part of the Dacke Industri technology group and employ 60 people at our manufacturing facility in Lagan, Sweden. From this base, we offer a wide range of worm gear drives, electromechanical cylinders and screw jacks, as well as providing customised solutions that can be power tailored to our customers’ exact specifications. Our goal is to find a solution for every type of rotary or linear motion, however difficult it may be, and also to provide an electromechanical alternative to hydraulics. All our electromechanical transmission products are low noise, energy efficient and easy to install, and have been specifically designed to perform in even the harshest environments. We supply a variety of different industries including precision drives for medical technology equipment, green installations for marine applications, heavy duty solutions for lifting and transportation, and hard wearing high tech systems for the defence industry. Our company is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 to guarantee that our processes and products maximise resources, with the minimum of waste. From standard transmission products to bespoke, tailor made systems, we make sure our customers get the right product at the right place and at the right time.
