We specialize in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, ADHD, Apraxia of Speech, Specific Language Impairment, and other developmental disorders. Social Work Services: -Individual and family therapy Supports individuals of all ages while emphasizing opportunities for flexible thinking, problem solving, and experience sharing. Our social workers utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, ranging from play-based therapy to more traditional interventions, such as talk therapy and CBT, to support clients through life transitions and mental health challenges. -RDI® Relationship Development Intervention® (RDI) therapists are trained by Dr. Gutstein and Dr. Sheely, co-creators of the RDI program. RDI provides education and coaching to parents and others who interact and work with individuals with autism. Speech and Language Therapy Supports individuals of all ages with a variety of speech and language disorders. Our speech and language pathologists utilize a variety of methods for therapy and diagnosis to support client’s unique needs. Block Therapy™ Designed to utilize what is known about neuroplasticity to inform treatment. SAA is the only therapy practice in the Chicago area offering this type of intensive social work and speech intervention. The Block schedule includes a minimum of 30 hours of intervention over six weeks. We have successfully used it with many individuals who had stopped making progress in traditional therapy or who presented with complex issues that had been resistant to change.
