Here at Sweet Emotions Counseling, you can expect a comfortable atmosphere with real people that understand you. We aim to help you overcome the addiction and mental health issues that led you to seek help. We are laid back and informal, focusing all of our professional energy on helping you. Our counseling methods are goal-oriented: Utilizing techniques to bring an improvement to your quality of life within a short time. We personalize our treatment planning and counseling sessions with you to bring you the best personal results, so that you can feel an improvement within a few sessions. We offer court mandated and voluntary anger management counseling. We also help addicts through counseling, and intensive outpatient care. If you are dependent on alcohol, addicted to addicted to drugs, addicted to gambling, addicted to computers, addicted to video gaming, or suffer from any form of co-dependency, we can help. We are also well versed in co-occuring mental health issues. All of our therapist are masters level counselors: Kenneth and Mandy have specialized Masters Degrees in Addiction Studies and Counseling from Hazelden Graduate School. Mandy brings with her three and a half years of experience working with men and women at the Hazelden in Minnesota. Kenneth furthered his education at Adler Graduate School: Post-graduate Masters Level coursework in Marriage and Family Counseling with an emphasis in Art Therapy. Matt specializes in iLS Music Therapy. Kenneth and Mandy are licensed and recognized by the court system as Anger Management Specialist through the National Anger Management Association. Sweet Emotions Counseling’s team's philosophy is a Multidisciplinary approach to client care. This approach allows each therapist brings to the table a unique set of therapeutic ideals, strengths, and life experiences.
