Sweet Fields is a brand about love, quality, and community. That's out secret! Sweet Fields began in the 1930's in Ottawa, OH, when my grandmother and her sister, the Brown sisters, were 13 and 14 years old. They worked as the cook and nanny for a Swedish woman. During that time, the Brown sisters, created a dinner roll to serve to that family and their guests, which later became one of our family favorites, served every Thanksgiving and Christmas. Growing up with my grandmother, I became one of three people who knew the recipe and technique for these coveted rolls and was often in charge of making them for the holidays. In an act of love, I decided to make chocolate cinnamon rolls for my husband and mother-in-law, to impress them. I tweaked the dough to make it vegan and that is how the first Sweet Fields cinnamon roll was born. I, too have a Sister, who loves to cook and her and I decided to create a line of quality cinnamon rolls, that we ourselves would love to enjoy. From one set of sisters to another set of sisters, sharing their love of cooking food and baking. My sister and I, the other Ms. Fields, decided to bring it back to the basics of Grandma's Cookin' and create a cinnful twist on a simple yet delicious favorite....Cinnamon Rolls. Sweet Fields is a decadent, gourmet cinnamon roll company offering a myriad of flavors catering to vegan and non-vegan communities. We offer over 12 different flavors of cinnamon rolls and due to a desire to transport people to those cherished moments of eating Grandma's homemade treats, we make sure not to use any added preservatives and only use quality ingredients in our rolls. We are often asked "Are they really that good?" We encourage them to not only try them, but dare to try them without the icing and let us know how they feel. Each roll is rolled with love and baked with precision. We welcome our customers to gather with friends and family to take a Sweet Break and indulge in the decadent bites of Sweet Fields!
