About Sweet Life Diabetes Community
Sweet Life is an inspiring community for South Africans with Diabetes. We are a registered PBO with a single focus: to empower people with diabetes in SA. Sweet Life is a diabetes community that informs, inspires and connects people with diabetes in South Africa. We are here to offer reliable advice on all you need to know about diabetes, support people with diabetes and share that just because you have diabetes, doesn’t mean you can’t live a happy, healthy life. As a registered NPO/PBO (220-984), our mission is to solve diabetes education in SA, empower people with diabetes, and bring diabetes into the spotlight. We have a specific focus on health education materials, and how to create meaningful, delightful diabetes education. Working with the Diabetes Alliance, we intend to create basic building blocks of diabetes information that every person with diabetes in South Africa will understand, and action. By working directly with people with diabetes in South Africa, we are able to get a better understanding of the current status of diabetes in SA. And work to fix it.
