About Sweetener Supply Corporation -"Where Quality Comes Naturally"
Originally founded in 1990 as a distributor of food ingredients, since that time we have evolved into one of the nation’s premier manufacturers of ingredients to the food & beverage industries. The Sweetener Supply family of products is widely recognized throughout the industry with our Sur Sweet Invert Syrup, Ambersweet Liquid Sucrose, & UltraClear “Cordial Grade” Sucrose. In 2002, we acquired the Delicious Foods Company of Chicago, whose 90 plus year tradition of honey and molasses added to our growing family of products. The Delicious family of products continues to grow with the addition of our Delicious Golden & Delicious Medium Brown Sugars as well as our new state of the honey processing facility. With this new expansion we have become one of the largest industrial honey packers in the country while the highly automated system makes us one of the lowest cost producers in the industry. In 2008, Sweetener Supply introduced Ridgeland Fiber to the market with the construction of our Berwyn Illinois facility With this introduction Sweetener Supply became one of the elite manufacturers of powdered cellulose in the world, adding much needed capacity and technical knowledge to the marketplace. In 2012, a second powdered cellulose facility was opened in Elkhorn Wisconsin to meet the growing demand. This unique ingredient offers a wide range of uses including anti-caking in shredded and grated cheese, dietary fiber enrichment in baked goods, pastas, and pet foods. Reno Nevada became a little bit sweeter in 2017 when we opened our newest facility allowing us the ability to service the western United States with our full family of products
