Our staff of physicians and occupational therapists are trained experts in comprehensive lymphedema therapy. Each of our occupational therapits are specially certified in lymphedema therapy. They have trained a minimum of 135 hours attaining the necessary expertise in treating lymphedema. All our therapists provide Complete Decongestive Therapy, the recognized standard of care for lymphedema patients. In addition, we offer an on-site physician specializing in internal medicine who has years of experience in treating lymphedema. Why choose Swelling Treatment Center, LLC? We provide Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), the leading and most comprehensive lymphedema treatment available. CDT is the recognized gold standard for treating lymphedema. It includes: (1) manual lymph drainage, (2) multi-layer compression bandaging, (3) exercises, and (4) skincare. We also educate and prepare the patient to care for themselves at home once they have attained maximum fluid reduction at our clinic. The patient should be able to sustain the maximum level of fluid reduction by using the self-care methods learned during treatment, the lymphedema pump prescribed by the clinic and properly fitting compression garments. We accept all major medical insurance, Medicare and Tricare.
