SWI is on a mission to produce the most advanced bespoke carbon bicycle frames. The only brand hand-building uninterrupted carbon monocoque frames customised to match the rider’s weight and power output, every SWI frameset is built upon 3 pillars: engineering mastery, craftsmanship & extreme attention to detail. Our engineering mastery is inspired from our Swiss origins. The craftsmanship comes from our place of manufacture, in the Italian city of Bassano Del Grappa. Nestled in the heart of the Veneto region, (Italy,) this area possesses centuries old artisan traditions, aswell as a world renowned expertise for working with materials as diverse as marble, stone, gold, and in more recent times advanced carbon composites. Extreme attention to detail stems from the founder of SWI, Stefano Cenere’s long career as a craftsman of intricate pieces of luxury gold jewellery. Always a passionate cyclist, Stefano realised that there were many similarities between the moulding techniques he used to craft his gold jewellery and to those used in carbon bicycle frame manufacturing. Combining this unique insight and his love of cycling Stefano set out to create a carbon bicycle frame that reflects both his jewellers background and his love for high performance engineering.
