SwimmingSA is the peak body for swimming in South Australia, leading, supporting and connecting the athletes, clubs, volunteers, coaches, officials and supporters who shape our sport. More than a sport, we believe swimming is is a community, a skill for life and a platform for personal and collective achievement. We are proud to support every step of the swimming journey, from first strokes to state championships, national teams and beyond, and every club, coach, official and volunteer along the way. Our role is to grow participation, deliver outstanding competitions, support the development of people, and champion the opportunities swimming creates. We work to ensure swimming in South Australia is accessible, inclusive and thriving, in every club and every community. Each year, SwimmingSA delivers a full calendar of competitions, from grassroots meets to major state events. We create opportunities for swimmers to challenge themselves, for clubs to grow, for volunteers and officials to develop, and for our community to come together. At every level, the experience matters. Whether it is a junior’s first race, a country club’s celebration of a season, a volunteer’s first day on pool deck, or a senior athlete preparing for national trials, the environment we create shapes the future of our sport. Our community is made up of thousands of South Australians who give their time, talent and passion to swimming.
