Swishfund Ltd is an alternative lender providing term loans to small businesses in the UK. We are focussed on building the best customer experience through a combination of technology, human connections and understanding. Also, we lend only what is affordable, and we contribute to environmental and social projects. Our five core values are: 1. "All customers are unique." This means computer says “Yes”: machine-learning algorithm is a guideline, not a rule. A human underwriter reviews EVERY declined loan application to find “Yes”. 2. "All customers are built and run by humans." This means that reasons for decision are given for every application, and we review our reasons if fairly challenged. We have a 48-hour cooling–off period for no charge (Direct customers only). 3. "Lending is a partnership, not a one-off Sales transaction". This means we have flexible and seasonal repayment options. We have compassion and trust at the heart of our servicing policy. We allow a 30 day grace period after the end of the term to settle any outstanding balance (or restructure). 4. "Everyone must have access to finance". We have neurodiverse loan documentation. Professional voice recordings of all legal documentation for the sight-impaired. Shariah law compliant loan portfolio. 5. "We are all part of the environment where we work". Swishfund is carbon neutral and we offset 10 tons of carbon per new loan. We also offer APR discounts to carbon neutral customers and those in renewable industries. Our mission is to make finance feel good, for everyone.
