About Swiss Forum for Skills Development and International Cooperation FoBBIZ
Vocational Education and Training (VET) is a central element of the Swiss education system and has recently gained considerable importance in international cooperation. FoBBIZ was founded with the aim of promoting active exchange between these two domains. On the one hand, the VET expertise of Swiss players can be made internationally fruitful, and on the other hand, Swiss VET can also benefit greatly from international trends and developments. In order to enable a rich discussion, FoBBIZ takes a thematically broad view of VET, is interested in formal VET (basic VET and higher VET) as well as in continuing VET, in company training but also in training within the framework of labour market measures in different geographical contexts. Equally, it integrates practical and scientific perspectives and discusses trends and future developments.
