About Swiss Logistics Foundation

The foundation promotes the reputation, education and career opportunities in the fields of supply chain management, logistics, purchasing, freight forwarding and transport. Throughout Switzerland. The Swiss Logistics Foundation is a charitable foundation within the meaning of Article 80 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code. It has its registered office in Dietikon. The Foundation does not pursue any commercial purposes. The Foundation is the initiator and organiser of the Swiss Supply Chain Hall of Fame. Since 2015, this has been honouring personalities who have rendered outstanding services to the promotion and development of logistics. Swiss pioneers, managers, company owners, consultants, scientists, but also personalities from history serve as role models for future generations due to their outstanding achievements. The Hall of Fame is available virtually and online at www.shof.ch. - and since 2019 also as a "Wall of Fame" at the Swiss Museum of Transport. The Foundation is the initiator of the new exhibition "Experience Logistics!" from 2020 at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne, Switzerland's most visited museum. The Swiss Logistics Foundation is a co-initiator of the new promotional association SWISS SUPPLY - www.swiss-supply.ch. In order to improve the reputation of "Supply, Logistics and Transport" in Switzerland in a joint, committed and sustainable way, the 6 associations ASTAG, ASFL SVBL, GS1 Switzerland, procure.ch, SPEDLOGSWISS as well as the VNL founded the association SWISS SUPPLY together with the Foundation in spring 2021.
