About Switch Society

We have a passion for fashion that doesn’t cause further damage to the planet! The Switch Society creates community events like clothing SWAPS where women can bring their donation items and gently used or like new clothes and SWAP them for new items. We collect and ensure donation items go to organizations and people who really need them and when they SWAP their gently used clothing items they do it without spending money! We host upcycling workshops where we create and teach others how to get more lives from their clothing while embracing their own personal style. Our S.T.I.T.C.H. (Sewing, Together, Inspiration, with Threads for the Community of Homeless) Program focuses on creating products like blankets for the homeless and bedding for animals in shelters from textile scraps. We support slow fashion, conscious consumerism, and lessen the impact on the environmental from textile manufacturing.
