Sylvacurl is used to protect products during shipping by providing a naturally soft and shock absorbing nesting effect. Using Sylvacurl as a packaging material helps reduce plastics in packaging so companies can meet new environmental regulations and their customers' needs. Sylvacurl is made from one thing: wood; with not added chemicals or other additives. It provides superior protection for glass and delicate items, is food safe, and customer love the unboxing experience. The renewable raw material is locally sourced Aspen which supports landowners, loggers, and saw mills in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont which makes for a healthy forest and strong local communities. Plastics are petroleum based and only a small portion of plastic packaging is recycled. About 30% finds its way to landfills and the rest ends up in the environment. Sylvacurl, on the other hand, is made from a renewable resource and is an all natural product that is biodegradeable, and backyard compostable.
