Symmons Madge Associates Ltd have been providing high quality training and professional development support to the engineering and construction industries since 1990. We deliver both in-house and open construction and engineering training courses, and mentoring and coaching throughout the UK and overseas. Our in-house training courses are a convenient and cost-effective solution to providing professional skilled training on a larger scale, and can be tailored specifically to meet the needs of your Company. We can assist your company by assessing your current training needs and ensuring that the content and delivery of appropriate courses are tailored to staff capability at all levels, incorporating company policies and procedures if required. We can also offer bespoke training courses, complying to more specific requirements. Training can be provided either at company premises or an external venue. From recent graduates to senior management, or smaller companies with budget restraints, our open training courses are designed for individuals to achieve professional skilled qualifications and to support ongoing professional development. We currently offer a portfolio of over 400 courses, with 30 different tutors. We work closely with the major UK construction and engineering institutions to ensure that all training and mentoring activities are compatible with their requirements for professional qualification and continuing professional development (CPD). We also work with universities to manage the placement and mentoring of sandwich course students on their Year In Industry (Sandwich Year) Placements.
