About Synaya

Synaya is a young dynamic company striving to provide high end affordable robotic solutions for subsea and aerial inspections. Funded in November 2013 as a small family business in Perth Western Australia, its founders combine skills from Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, project management experience, a PhD in applied physics, and a PhD in Marine science, with 30 years of managing experience in the offshore engineering industry, 10 years experience in leading edge experimental physics, and 4 years experience in environmental marine services. Synaya can provide mini ROV based underwater inspections services. ROV are Remotely Operated Vehicles, essentially small submersible vehicles that are operated along a tether from surface control. Mini ROVs are small yet capable observation vehicles with a wide range of applications. They are sufficiently lightweight to be deployed by hand, avoiding costly and complicated launching procedures. Similarly Synaya can deploy small commercial drones (UAV) for economical aerial inspections or surveys. We believe that lightweight unmanned technologies have reached a critical point of widespread and economical usage, which is already enabling new strategies that were previously uneconomical or simply impossible. Moreover we are excited by the fast progress and capabilities of these technologies, and we want to help making them available to local industries. Our strategy is two fold; The First is to become experts in their commercial usage and applications. The Second is to adhere to quality and safety management practices, and to pursue the respective accreditation, in order to become a nationally respected brand name. We aim to become a regional leader in unmanned inspections and surveys capitalizing on the industry wide trend of favoring the use of unmanned vehicles as an economical and risk free strategy.
