Our story started when we were running an HMO company and began questioning what we were doing. We were not making any progress in preventing illnesses despite numerous screenings, preventive programs, or even diet and exercise, it was a coin toss really. It might as well be termed ‘Cost Maintenance’, it wasn’t a question of ‘if you get sick’ rather ‘when you get sick. Then it suddenly dawned on us that the problem lies on the fundamentals of lifestyle. A person might have annual checkups and still end up in the hospital. So we sold the company, analyzed our data and challenged ourselves that there has got to be a better way. Syncmed developed a Digital Therapeutics platform using AI to fuse patient health data with patient habits that hopes to improve outcomes.
