About Syrakous

Syrakous® is an Italian startup founded in 2023 in Syracuse, in the heart of Magna Graecia, specializing in educational toys and games inspired by mythology. Its mission is to unite Art, Play and Myth to bring children and families closer to classical culture in a creative and engaging way, while preserving and enhancing Italy’s cultural heritage through a contemporary lens. It designs, produces and distributes original collections that spark imagination and historical curiosity, through design products inspired by ancient Greece. Among its most acclaimed creations is MIO TEMPIO®, a line of 10 wooden Greek temples in three architectural orders, each dedicated to an Olympian deity. Every set, composed of 11 magnetic elements, combines construction, storytelling and discovery. The Temple of Artemis, dedicated to the goddess of the Moon and the Hunt, is part of this collection and was nominated Toy of the Year – Gioco per Sempre Awards 2025 in the Construction category, a recognition that celebrates the product’s design quality and educational value. Syrakous® collections also include Mitoyoyo, Mitomondo, Mitomagneti, Mitocarte and Colora, designed to transform myth into an experience of play, learning and sharing.
