Back in the 1960's, modern plastic pipe and fittings were first introduced. This change brought opportunities for innovators to introduce products that would make plastic piping systems more reliable and easier to install. Tom Christy saw an opportunity to manufacture products that would work well in adverse conditions commonly encountered by professional contractors. Working "in the trenches", Christy perfected Red Hot Blue Glue® which is now the #1 contractor-rated PVC solvent cement. In the 35 years that Christy's Red Hot Blue Glue has led the market in quality and performance, the company has continued to add new products for professionals. Christy's currently serves the irrigation, pool/spa, drainage, plumbing, HVAC, waterworks, and vinyl fencing industries. The company recently expanded its company-owned, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility near Nashville, TN to increase output to meet the growing demand. Four distribution centers (Anaheim, Phoenix, Sacramento, Nashville) provide rapid product availability coast-to-coast. Christy's works hard to ensure the success of all of its customers.
