About TAALK - Talk About Abuse to Liberate Kids
TAALK’s mission is to break the silence that surrounds child sexual abuse (CSA) by creating opportunities to talk about it through the delivery of awareness, education and support programs, using existing programs where possible. We achieve our mission by leveraging the internet and media to recruit, train and mobilize volunteers globally to deliver these programs in their local communities. Our vision is to create a cultural change from passive acceptance to the understanding that CSA is predictable and preventable when knowledgeable outspoken adults work together to enact change. TAALK unites key community constituents (law enforcement, educators, media, survivors, etc.) in a collaborative effort and encourages individual activists and volunteers from other advocacy organizations to join us, as we are stronger together!
