About TACID Tacoma Area Coalition for Individuals with Disabilities
TACID is a community center that serves adults (18+) experiencing a spectrum of developmental, cognitive, physical, sensory, and mental/behavioral disabilities and challenges. Our services are offered at our facility or online. At TACID, we focus on wellness and recovery instead of disability or diagnosis. Each person is the director of their own wellness and recovery process. We offer peer support groups, wellness activities and comprehensive Information and Referrals. We also provide inclusive recreation in our Drop-in Dayroom (Monday through Friday 9:30AM-3:00PM). All of our services are free of charge.
