About Tackle22Fishing

Eddie's Story I am a Marine Corps veteran and father of two. I served as an Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting specialist for 8 years on active duty. After returning from overseas, I began to exhibit self destructive behaviors and began to consider suicide. A fellow Marine noticed this change in me and offered me the opportunity to go fishing, and ultimately saved my life. The Marine that took me fishing ultimately took his own life, not knowing he saved mine. I strive to give veterans the same opportunity that was offered to me, a chance to go fishing with someone who understands the daily struggle with PTSD.
