Before today, testing and fixing your trailer lights required a basic mechanical knowledge and two people; one turning the lights on and the other shouting back if they are working. Believe it or not, this is the industry standard, and the accepted practice in workshops that maintain hundreds of trucks and trailers. Our Tactest Portable Test Box eliminates the need for the second person, and even then, allows the job to be completed up to 3 times faster than it would have taken. Another function is the ability to provide a portable 12V power source. Used with the supplied testing cable, the Test Box allows the user to have a powerful 12v battery at their fingertips. This makes it easy to test spotlights, solenoids, door locks and window motors without the need to find an old battery lying around to use, or hooking jump leads to the car battery. The various USB ports and accessory plugs allow phones and devices to be charged, as well as things like a tire air compressor to be used without having to be connected to the car battery. Trials by myself and potential customers in the field over the last 18 months have shown an extremely large and eager market for the Test Box, with a significant number wanting to preorder units, and even offer investment to be a part of our journey. We are currently designing many more new products to help service the larger community, especially around the recreational 4wd and caravanning market, and are expecting to have them available later on in 2022.
