Established with the mission to improve the lives of these vulnerable creatures, TAWF operates a state-of-the-art animal shelter and rescue service, providing essential care and rehabilitation. Our Mission At TAWF, we are dedicated to rescuing animals in distress and offering them a safe haven. Our mission extends beyond rescue to include comprehensive medical care, food, and shelter. We are controling the population of stray animals through humane methods (TNVR), thereby reducing their suffering and the spread of diseases like rabies. Key Projects and Activities 1. Animal Rescue Service: Every day, our team responds to rescue calls, saving animals from severe injuries, abuse, and life-threatening conditions. We provide these animals with immediate medical care and a safe environment to recover. 2. TNVR Project: Our Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) project is a pioneering effort in Faisalabad, Pakistan, aiming to humanely manage the stray animal population and eliminate rabies. Since its inception, we have vaccinated and sterilized thousands of animals, significantly reducing stray-related issues. 3. Awareness and Education: Through our classroom awareness project, we educate school children about animal rights and the importance of empathy towards animals. This initiative is crucial in fostering a compassionate future generation. 4. Equine Welfare: We extend our care to working animals, particularly equines, by providing free medical treatment and educating their owners on proper care practices. Our efforts aim to alleviate the suffering of these hardworking animals.
